Family Reentry Youth Programs
Family ReEntry is a nonprofit agency based in Bridgeport CT with offices in Norwalk and New Haven. The agency was established in 1984 and is considered a high impact justice agency seeking to reduce cycles of violence, crime and incarceration by providing direct service programs in three inter-connected areas: prisoner reentry; family and domestic violence interventions; youth and family services for children impacted by parental incarceration and youth involved with juvenile probation. Family Reentry Youth Programs provide mentoring services for vulnerable children and teens. This nonprofit program is committed to supporting children in the Greater Bridgeport, Norwalk & Stamford areas who have an incarcerated family member or who are involved with the juvenile justice system. School base or community base mentor models are available to meet your schedule needs and level of commitment. Volunteer Mentors are needed to visit with youth weekly after school/weekends to provide a positive relationship and to help foster resiliency through committed & supportive interactions.
