Home of Hearts, Inc is a Permanent Supportive Housing that provides a safe environment for homeless Veterans; who have endured circumstances such as incarceration, history of substance abuse, and loss of income. We offer services to help our residents overcome challenges; with an improved sense of self-esteem they will become more productive and continue to live better lives.
Home of Hearts is working with local agencies and programs in Fairfield County to establish a referral relationship to meet the needs of homeless Veterans, who are in need of permanent supportive housing.
The goals of Home of Hearts are 1) decrease the number of homeless Veterans in Connecticut Fairfield County; 2) work to prevent homelessness and promote the wellbeing of Veterans by building on their existing strengths; 3) assist in providing independent permanent housing/homeownership for Veterans.
The Home of Hearts will provide all-inclusive access to psychological/behavioral, financial, educational, and recreational services for up to 3 Veterans at any time through community partnerships and extensively trained staff and volunteers. Services listed below:
