What we are looking for:
Goals of the Internship The intern will learn proper techniques for handling and cataloging a collection of Stamford Museum art and artifacts as well as experience installing and hanging museum exhibitions.   Duties & Responsibilities Assist in installing, de-installing Stamford Museum gallery exhibitions Cataloging and photographing works of art & artifacts in the museum’s permanent collection Entering data into Collections software Research on collection and upcoming exhibitions Qualifications A strong interest in museum collections, databases, and digitization projects Proficient in Microsoft Suite Experience with digital photography Extremely detail oriented The individual should be reliable, ready to take direction, and willing to work as a team player Successfully pass a criminal background check     To apply, please send a resume, cover letter and two reference contacts to:
