Letters for Hope

We have partnered with the Presidential Inaugural Committee MLK Day of Service. The Volunteer Square high school interns hosted a letter-writing campaign on Monday, January 18th. We are encouraged letters to be written to residents of Waveny LifeCare Network in New Canaan, CT, residents of Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport, CT, and to people in Yuba County Jail for immigration detention. The letters or cards are meant to bring some hope and cheer to residents and lift their spirits during this pandemic. We had over 100 people across CT join us and hundreds of cards and letters were sent out. If you are still interested in sending a letter of hope, the information is below!
