  • Open Doors
    • Open Doors has moved to a takeout program for community residents at both the kitchen and pantry. We’re looking to coordinate delivered donations of catering-style prepared meals for about 175 people with local restaurants, caterers, and other places with a commercial kitchen that are looking for ways to give or who we can match with a sponsor.
    • They are also asking anyone who has overstocked on hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes, and other disinfecting supplies to donate a few items from their stash to the shelter.

  • Filling in the Blanks
    • To combat the loss of lunches for children who are no longer able to attend school, Filling in the Blanks distributed supplementary weekend bags last week to several of our schools before their closures were announced in Norwalk, Stamford, and Greenwich, CT.  They will continue to deliver weekend bags at distribution sites to guarantee the children will continue to have the nutrition that their growing minds and bodies need. Visit their website to join their Virtual Food Drive to help today!
