On the Saturday before Easter, many people arrived at St. Mary Church in Norwalk to clean up the church and make it look beautiful for Easter. Some made sure the hand candles were ready to be lit for the evening. The flower ladies made sure there was an abundance of flowers and that all the flowers were vibrantly blooming. The men flattened out the carpet and took the purple cloths off the statues. Together, everyone made the Church look beautiful for the most important day of the Church year: Easter.
