This past year, I had the opportunity to organize a service project with my school club, Bracelets for a Cause. In light of the upcoming holiday season, we wanted to make handmade blankets for the homeless. For about two months, we simultaneously fundraised to purchase fleece fabric and made no-sew fleece blankets. Although it was a long process, we were able to create 26 blankets and donate them to the Beth-El center in Milford. I am so grateful for everyone that contributed to this initiative! With teamwork, we were able to make a difference in our community. I am excited to plan more projects like this in the future!
