Want to Serve on a Town Board?

If you are interested in government and politics, you may want to consider this unique opportunity to volunteer on either the Democratic or Republican Town Board Committee for the Woodbridge sector of Milford. 

The Democratic Town Committee is seeking volunteers interested in becoming nominees for appointment to town boards and commissions. Boards include Conservation, Human Services, Inland Wetlands, Library, Recreation, Finance, and Town Plan and Zoning. The appointments are for four year terms and begin on July 1st. The Republican Town Committee is also seeking candidates for boards and commissions. These selected volunteers oversee government programs, make policy recommendations, and deliver land use decisions. Boards include the Building Board of Appeals, Conservation, Economic Development, EMS, Fire, Government Access Television, Human Services, Library, Board of Police, Recreation, and Town Plan and Zoning.
