Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Participating in special olympics will give these children and adults the opportunity to make friendships and experience joy and happiness through these competitions. Now, Special Olympics is coming to Ridgefield and volunteers are needed to help set up and run events. For more information of what volunteers do and about the organization you can go to the website http://www.soct.org/get-involved/become-volunteer/ . To become a volunteer in Ridgefield or for more information you can contact a coach from an event. New volunteer forms are required by Special olympics and can also be found on the website.
