Volunteer at The Depot

The Depot depends on its volunteers to maintain operations in order to service the youth in our community. It’s a great opportunity to work with a knowledgeable and fun group!


Adult Advisory Executive Board (Two-year term)

  • Database Maintenance & EBlasts/ENewsletters

In addition to the Executive Board, there are one-off events that require management by volunteers (One- to two-year term)

  • Darien Chamber of Commerce Winetasting (Planning starts in September; the event is usually in October)
  • The Depot Fall Annual Appeal Mailing (Planning starts in September, the mailing goes out November 1)
  • Winter Fundraising Event (Planning starts in November, the event is in January or February)
  • Spelling Bee (Planning starts in January, the event is usually mid-March)
  • Spring Fundraising Event (The event is usually mid-May)
  • DHS Senior Graduation Balloons (Planning starts in April, flyers go out June 1, and balloons are delivered on graduation day)
  • 4th, 5th, 6th Grade Reps (Coordinate two parties/school year for the Fall and Spring)
