Welcome to the Team!

In an effort to expand opportunities for high school students and build stronger volunteer communities in Fairfield County, Volunteer Square created a high school internship program that launched a pilot in the fall of 2016. The program provides high school interns training and experience with digital marketing, social media, website maintenance and community relations.

Volunteer Square interns become ambassadors in their schools, area towns, and their peer groups. They represent the organization throughout Fairfield County at local nonprofit events as well as on VolunteerSquare.com and social media channels. Interns will also create and manage the newly added "Town News" pages on VolunteerSquare.com. We are thrilled to announce that our internship program has expanded and we will welcome 8 new high school students to our team this week. Our wonderful fall interns, all from Trumbull High School, will also continue their work with us. Here's an introduction to the new faces of Volunteer Square!
