A Fairfield County native, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Most recently, Reese worked as Director of Community Relations at the YMCA of Greenwich where she managed all marketing, web and print communications and overhauled the institution’s public relations strategy.

Prior to her work with the Greenwich Y, Reese worked in Hartford for the Connecticut State Legislature as a press secretary for three Senators in the Senate Republican Caucus. She is also a two-time Emmy nominated television news producer with years of experience at News 12 Connecticut. She received her degree in Communications from Fairfield University. She sits on the Associate Board of Directors of Family Centers in Greenwich. the Junior Board of Directors of Family & Children's Agency in Norwalk and the Board of Directors of the Peter Wojtecki Veteran Housing Foundation in New Canaan.

Ned Brokaw Founder
Ned Brokaw spent twenty-seven years in the financial services industry as an analyst and financial advisor. Most recently, he was Executive Director of Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. from 2006 to 2010. Prior to Oppenheimer, he was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank which acquired Alex Brown in 2000. Mr. Brokaw began his financial advisor career at Alex Brown in 1983.

In 1981 he began his investment career as an analyst at his father's firm, Brokaw Capital Management. Mr. Brokaw is a graduate of Kenyon College. He lives in Darien with his wife and family.

Michael Carusi is a social media manager and consultant for a wide variety of organizations and businesses that want to rock their digital marketing, turn their customers into diehard fans, and make their social media the best it can be. He started his consulting business shortly after graduating from American University in 2010. He also volunteers and continues learning relevant skills from volunteering that help him in business. Kelly Walters Graphic Designer

Kelly Walters is the Graphic Designer for VolunteerSquare. She founded her own solo design studio in 2010 that specializes in: brand identities, print, website, pattern and textile design. She has developed a portfolio of work for local non-profits, small businesses and educational organizations. Kelly is also an adjunct Graphic Design professor at at the University of Bridgeport. Kelly graduated from the University of Connecticut Storrs with a BFA in Communication Design and BA in Communication Sciences. David M. Campbell Selectman, Town of Darien, CT

David M. Campbell is a Selectman of the Town of Darien, Connecticut. He also is President and CEO of Rings End, Inc., a Darien business founded by his family. Rings End is a building materials distributor and retailer with six locations in Connecticut and one location in New York. Mr. Campbell is a board member of Family Centers in Greenwich and Trustee of Tabor Academy. Mr. Campbell and his family are long-time residents of Darien.

Chris Hulse Founder & CEO, Inflection Point Media

In August 2008 Chris Hulse launched InflectionPointMedia.com a next generation audience-targeting platform focused on the B2B marketplace. Prior to InflectionPointMedia.com, Mr. Hulse worked at Business.com for five years serving most recently as Vice President, Strategic Sales and Business Development managing agency and strategic relationships nationally.

Mr. Hulse joined Business.com from Walker Digital Management, a privately held R&D laboratory where he served as Vice President of Business Development at three of its operating companies. Mr. Hulse began his career at Greenwich-based Madison Direct Marketing. He currently serves on the Advisory Boards of: ImpulseRadio.com, Adotube.com, Vendmore Systems, Board of Directors Friends of Bassett Hospital and Friends of Hyde Hall. Mr. Hulse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics and Finance from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He lives in Wilton, CT with his wife and 3 children.

Gavin Pommernelle Founder, Talent Driven Value, LLC

Gavin Pommernelle is the founder of Talent Driven Value LLC. He works worldwide with leaders and leadership teams of businesses experiencing challenges in leadership and talent management. Quantifiable results are achieved for clients through executive coaching, facilitation techniques, detailed communication planning and practical talent management tools.

Gavin has over 20 years of leadership experience in executive leadership roles and in managing Human Resource functions globally. This also includes overseeing corporate social responsibility programs for a global business.

Originally from South Africa and having lived in London, Hong Kong and Frankfurt, Gavin has been a Darien resident for the last 5 years.



Jennifer Flatow, Manager of Volunteer Services, Family Centers

Jennifer Flatow is the Manager of Volunteer Services at Family Centers in Greenwich. After 10 years of working in higher education and development at Trinity College and the University of Hartford, she decided it was time for a change of scenery and relocated to Fairfield County.  She joined Family Centers in 2006 in a newly-created position overseeing the agency’s volunteer efforts. Flatow has singlehandedly grown Family Centers’ volunteer capacity.  Last year alone, the agency hosted more than 2,000 volunteers.

Flatow is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University. She currently resides in Old Greenwich with her son William.



Leah Kimmet Executive Director, Horizons

Ms. Kimmet, who was appointed Horizons’ Interim Executive Director in April 2007 and Executive Director in November 2007, earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brown University and a Master’s degree in elementary teaching and curriculum design from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She has taught elementary and middle school math and coached three sports, most recently at Rippowam Cisqua School. Ms. Kimmet has a longstanding relationship with Horizons: she taught in the Summer Program for seven years, assisted with program administration while enrolled at Teachers College, and served as Program Director.

Ceci Maher LMSW, Executive Director, Person-to-Person, Inc.
A native of Stamford, Connecticut, she served as Executive Director of Horizons National Student Enrichment Program for 5 years. Prior to that position she was a clinical social worker at Four Winds Hospital working with children and youth. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Columbia University School of Social Work, and is a Licensed Master Social Worker with considerable experience in leadership, long range planning, program development, evaluation and marketing.

Julia Wade Volunteer Coordinator, DOMUS
Julia Wade was hired by Domus as its first Volunteer Coordinator in November 2010. In that time she has placed approximately 1000 volunteers in opportunities ranging from Done-In-A-Day projects, to weekly mentoring or tutoring engagements, to designing and executing initiatives and programs that allow Domus to expand its offerings. In the age of active and meaningful engagement that positively impacts outcomes for vulnerable children, she has created a model that is both challlenging and rewarding for Domus volunteers. Prior to joining Domus, Julia was Program Manager at the Stamford Partnership where she chaired Stamford's Complete Count Committee (Census), convened the Stamford West Side Neighborhood Revitalization Zone, co-chaired the marketing committee for Neighbors Link Stamford, and identified over 150 young people to participate in a new Work & Learn program. In addition, she also serves on Stamford's Board of Education and is on the board of Habitat for Humanity Coastal Fairfield Coun
